Hook Kids on Fishing

Led by knowledgeable, experienced anglers from Anglers for Conservation, the Hook Kids on Fishing program is divided into five learning circles: safety, conservation, knot tying, rigging & tackle, and casting. The first 100 participants who complete the two-hour workshop will receive a free rod and reel. (The workshop begins at 10am, but earlier signup is recommended. A second workshop will be added at 1pm if there is sufficient interest.)

Children who complete this program will have a better understanding of fishing and fishing techniques that will help them become better anglers and more conservation-minded in the future. The event is open to children ages 6-15 who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Register here:
